Cruises

CARE O2 can provide oxygen on cruise ships in many places around the world. Even on river cruises.

The most common boarding and disembarking points serviced by CARE O2 in the Mediterranean region (Spain, Italy, Greece etc.) are Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Athens, Mallorca, Malaga and the Canary Islands. However, CARE O2 can also bring oxygen on board at many ports outside this region, in countries like United States of America (USA), Canada, Norway etc.

Often, when travelling on a cruise you will leave the territorial waters of one or more countries, e.g. Spain, Italy or Greece, which means that equipment will need go through Customs. CARE O2 can handle the paperwork required, provided your request has been submitted to us on time.

The type of oxygen equipment that is permitted or supplied on board depends on the cruise line and/or the country of boarding. It may be possible that on one cruise liquid oxygen with a carry set (stroller) is provided, while on another it may well be a combination of a 'normal' concentrator and a portable one.

The possibilities vary per country and change frequently.

For instance, boarding in Barcelona, Spain, and disembarking in Venice, Italy, is possible as long as the cruise ship returns to the port where the equipment has been brought on board. On the other hand, in Italy it does not matter whether the cruise ship returns to the same port because the equipment will be picked up where you disembark.
