It affects young children to grown adults throughout their lives. Some may have the disease for life whereas some even grow out of it over time. For those there are 3 types of asthma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Allergic asthma<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Non-allergic asthma<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Cough-variant asthma<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a scale from mild to severe depending on the frequency of an attack. This can be anything from wheezing, struggling to breathe and chest becoming really tight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Severe patients may need supplementary oxygen to help assist.
