Important Remarks for Oxygen Requests

Please note the following important remarks when requesting your oxygen service:

DELIVERIES

1. Even though OxygenWorldwide delivers to more than 120 countries, we cannot deliver to all destinations. We will inform you of availability at your planned destination after we receive your request.
2. For some countries, a medical prescription is required. We will inform you after we receive the form if this is the case for your destination.
3. We aim to deliver one day before arrival and pick up again after departure.
4. We cannot deliver or pickup on public holidays and weekends.
5. In some countries fixed delivery and pickup days are used. We will inform you of the possible delivery and pickup dates if applicable for your destination.
6. For private homes and AirBnB, we require a local contact that can open the door for delivery and pickup. If unavailable delivery is only possible after arrival and pick-up before departure (not on weekends). If the local contact is unwilling or unable to assist we cannot guarantee a timely delivery.
7. If we come to pick up and cannot gain access to the property or pickup instructions are not followed, additional rental costs may be charged.
8. If special connections or peripherals are required that are not part of the standard oxygen installation these must be brought and installed by the traveller themselves.
9. Special so-called NRB masks for cluster headache treatment cannot be supplied everywhere and must, in that case, be brought by the traveller themselves.
10. In some cases an oxygen service may no longer be available at a certain destination due to a change in regulations or supplier coverage even though you travelled to this destination before. These situations are beyond our control. We will however still try and find a solution for you.
11. We aim to deliver the same oxygen equipment as is being used at home, but brands and types may vary from country to country. In all cases we always deliver what is needed  according to your medical prescription.
    

LIQUID OXYGEN

1. We cannot fill liquid oxygen tanks from third parties (e.g. a tank in your car for travel). This is not possible anywhere.
2. Filling your own portables from the liquid oxygen tanks is allowed, but we never guarantee 100% compatibility even though the liquid oxygen portable and tanks may be from the same manifacturer. It is always at your own risk and we highly recommend bringing an alternative solution as a backup where possible if oxygen is needed for the return trip.

PORTABLE CYLINDERS

1. Small portable cylinders are only available in the U.K. and in limited quantities in France. They are not available in Spain and Portugal. If your therapy allows it we can offer you alternatives like a portable concentrator or liquid oxygen.

SPECIAL OXYGEN FLOW RATES

1. Oxygen flow rates lower than 1 and higher than 15 liters per minute are not possible at all destinations. We will inform you of the possibilities at your chosen destination.

TAKING OXYGEN EQUIPMENT OUT OF THE DESTINATION COUNTRY

1. Materials supplied in the country of destination must remain in the country of destination and may under no circumstances be taken out of the country.
   

OXYGEN FOR TRAVEL FROM ONE COUNTRY TO ANOTHER

1. We cannot arrange oxygen for use during travel from one country to another. This means we cannot provide oxygen during flights, during ferry crossings or travel by private transportation from one county to another.
   

CRUISES

1. We cannot provide oxygen for cruises departing from the U.K.
2. We can arrange oxygen for cruises in Spain subject to availability.
3. We can arrange oxygen for river cruises in Europe subject to availability
